Good morning D.C. and anyone else who happens to be reading this. It is an overcast Tuesday with a high of 88 degrees today...currently it is 70 outside. I knew today was off to a good start when it only took me 37 minutes to drive the 15 miles from my house to the closest metro stop. This might seem ridiculous but rush hour is rush hour and at least it didn't take me an hour this morning. Another good sign was that my iPod on shuffle delivered a great variety of music this morning so Go iPod!!!...including James Taylor's "Carolina in my Mind" which ended just as I was heading into the building...if you have never heard that song, I suggest looking it up. I also tend to be that girl who will smile at people walking past if we happen to make eye contact, and this morning I got one stranger to return that smile..happy day. I have little else to report but later I will hopefully begin to recap my trip to Europe and add a picture slideshow as well because who doesn't love pictures...am I right? Until then, have a good day readers and fellow bloggers.
