U-S-A
After two and a half weeks of touring around Europe, our group landed in the United States last Saturday. A few of the guys started chanting U-S-A as our plane's wheels touched down in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a long 10-hr flight and it would be an understatement to say we were relieved that it was over. Only a week has gone by since then and I am currently writing from a hotel room in Winchester, Kentucky-this state is home to the Derby, Bourbon Country, and Bluegrass I have quickly found out. We have another 8 hour drive ahead of us and then I will be moving in to my residence for the next two months-living outside of Washington D.C. with my cousin! In D.C., I will begin my first internship! Scary, but exciting. This blog is going to be a record of things I have done this summer because it is going to be a whole new experience. I am also going to recap things from my European travels because unfortunately I did not have enough Internet there to blog daily. See ya on the East Coast!
